Sakuishi’s “Seven Shakespeares” debuted in Japan in 2009 and completed its run in 2011, but had yet to receive an English translation until comiXology picked it up. Volumes 15 through 34 will release throughout the remainder of this year, allowing English language fans to finally finish reading the story of the titular band’s rise to fame. Sakuishi’s best-selling series “BECK” will be completed in English for the first time, while his more recent hit “Seven Shakespeares” will receive its first-ever English translation.įourteen volumes of “BECK,” the story of average teenager Yukio Tanaka’s transformation into a rock ‘n roll superstar, are already available on comiXology. Following up on the debut of their first creator-owned titles, comiXology Originals announced they’re adding two manga series from publisher Kodansha and mangaka Harold Sakuishi to their catalog.
